Sunny skies and warmer temperatures — surely a wonderful time to do projects you put off during the cold, rainy winter. Have you had time to check the outside of your home for the effects of all that water? • Do you have mud or dirt stains on the stucco of your home or front wall? • Is stucco lifting because water seeped in? • Do you have white spots or rust beginning on the bottom of your wrought iron fence? The white spots lead to rust. A coat of paint can stop further damage to both. • If you have artificial plants, are they faded and need replacement? (Remember to purchase UV quality artificial plants.) • It is a good time to replace faded flags and umbrellas. • Did the rain damage your wooden fence? Is it in need of a coat of paint? • Do you have old, unused cables, satellites, or antennas? This may be a good time to remove them. • An easy way to change up and brighten your home is to choose a new door and/or shutter color from our paint book. Speaking of paint books, if you are repainting your home, you will need to choose colors from the new paint book. If you want to use the color you currently have on the exterior of your home, in most cases you will find that shade of paint in the new book. It will just have a new name.
