We need your help! In the past year we have
solicited contributions for our Colony Daze project.
We have received some, but regrettably, submissions
have been way too inadequate. We are still in need of
your casual photos of things you have done or enjoyed
in The Colony: special events, sports, committee
and club meetings, dances, dinners, visiting artists
or trips. Our goal is to create a short video that
showcases what it's like to live in our fun, interesting
and active 55+ community. To help us out, please
send your photos to ColonyDaze@yahoo.com.
As mentioned last month, Jane Payne and our
Marketing Outreach subcommittee have been
working on a new website, and it is coming soon. The
website has two objectives: 1) to have in one place
all up-to-date Colony information; 2) for potential
residents to gain a positive impression about our
community and provide comparison to other HOAs
in the area. The value of the website will be measured
by the number of its users and pages viewed on the
site. At right is a sneak peek at the home page. Stay
tuned for updates!
