Press in bottom and up sides of 9" pie pan. Bake 10 minutes. 2. Beat cream cheese and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until smooth and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Add vanilla and eggs and beat just until smooth, about 1 minute. 3. Pour into crust. Spoon ½ cup pie filling onto cheesecake. Use a knife to swirl filling into batter. 4. Bake 45-50 minutes, until set. Cool completely and refrigerate at least 4 hours. Slice and serve with additional pie filling and whipped topping. We enjoy trying them. Instructions: 1. Roast peppers until lightly blackened, place in quart-size freezer bag. Let it set while making soup. 2. Wash leeks thoroughly, slice crosswise. Saute leeks and onions in butter until tender, about 4 minutes. 3. Add chicken broth to leeks, onions and potatoes. Simmer 20-25 minutes until tender. 4. Peel poblano and discard seeds. Chop roughly and add to soup, and then add milk. Pulse in blender, but not too much or it will be gummy. Note: You can add cheese or shredded chicken. Enjoy! Instructions: 1. While grill is preheating, mix together eggs, garlic, feta cheese, spinach, turkey and bread crumbs in a large bowl until well combined, form into 8 patties. 3. Cook on preheated grill until no longer pink in the center, 15 to 20 minutes. Serve with or without buns and your favorite condiments. Note: Two handfuls of fresh spinach can be substituted. If using, steam for a few minutes. When "Patti made the patties," she added the bread crumbs to better hold them together. Poblano, Leek & Potato Soup Cherry Swirl Cheesecake Spinach & Feta Turkey Burgers Ingredients: Ingredients: • 2 poblano peppers (posilla peppers) • 3 medium leeks • 2 tbsp salted butter • 2 large onions, chopped • 3 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed • 4 cups chicken broth • ½ cup milk • Salt and pepper to taste • 2 eggs, beaten • 1 10 oz pkg frozen chopped spinach, thawed & squeezed dry • 2 cloves garlic, minced • 2 lbs ground turkey • 4 oz feta cheese • ¼ cup bread crumbs This soup recipe sounds good, and it's not one that I've ever had. Thanks to Linda Traylor for the recipe. This sounds like a great barbecue recipe, and quite an upgrade from your usual burgers. Patti Christensen says they are great.
