This support group, presented by Kristi Necochea, is designed to help educate and support those who are caring for a loved one with any ailment. We meet the second Thursday of each month. HEARING AID CHECK ursday, May 18, 9 to 10:30 am. This free service is provided by Johnson & Johnson every third Thursday of the month in the Clubhouse Card Room. SENIOR MEN'S SOFTBALL The Colony has formed a team of 15 residents to play in the Temecula Senior Softball League which is scheduled to start action in mid-September and play games on Wednesday afternoons. Currently we have enough players but there will be injuries, long vacations, etc., so if you're interested, contact Randy Schaaf (Colony resident) at 541-954- 2934 and you will be added to our list as a Reserve. Games will be played on the beautiful new fields at Sommers Bend on Murrieta Hot Springs Road (where it ends) and Butterfield Stage Road. AVOID DELIVERY SCAMS A friendly reminder that fake delivery concerns happen even in gated communities. • Be cautious when opening your door. • Most drivers will leave packages at your door and will not ask for your name unless you have prearranged a particular delivery. • Many apps will notify you when packages or other items are being or have been delivered. If you ever feel unsafe or suspect suspicious activity, please call the Murrieta Police Department (911). The Colony is now offering multi-day tours and cruises, which include airfare, transfers and pick up from The Colony parking lot. Below is a partial list of excursions available.
