| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | MAY 2023 | 17 Photos of our trip to the Carlsbad Flower Fields in late March speak for themselves. Everyone in attendance had a wonderful time, with the sunnier weather lifting everyone's spirits. The Japanese flower arrangements were well worth viewing, and worth us venturing out on a rare Sunday excursion. Our club continues to be as active as the grass and wildflowers growing from all the recent rains we've enjoyed this winter. We are certainly not without things to do, places to go and blooms to see! On April 13 we traveled out to Palm Desert to enjoy Sunnylands Center & Gardens in Rancho Mirage. This 200-acre estate, run by the Annenberg Foundation Trust, is not to be missed in our treasure trove of Southern California historical sites. We enjoyed lunch on the grounds and many of our members booked tours for a more up-close and personal experience. On Sun., May 7 we will enjoy another rare excursion. The Oasis Garden Club, formed by the residents of The Oasis in Menifee, is hosting their 3rd Annual Garden Tour of 10 home/ gardens. Tickets are $25 pp and include dinner, evening entertainment and a silent auction. We still have room for a few more residents to join us for this event. We love to have residents of our Four Seasons join us in meetings, for excursions and to experience forever friendships. Our next regular meeting is on Mon., May 8 at 1 pm in in the home/garden of Diane Corte at 8295 Bogey Ave. As is our custom when meeting with a host, light snacks to share with 25 are requested. Sharing gardening tips, traveling together, learning from each other, and cultivating friendships are the blooms growing in our gardens. Late Bloomers meets the second Monday of each month at 1 pm, usually followed by an excursion planned later in the month. All residents are welcome to attend meetings and trips. For info, please contact Sharon Deuber at (760) 500-0077 or Sharon@ BlackDiamondInvestments.net. Late Bloomers Garden Club Happy Campers RV Club Happy Campers meets the first Saturday of the month. We meet in The Lodge Multipurpose Room at 10 am. All are invited. May brings us to our next club trip. We will be in Bonelli Bluffs. Looking forward to the LA Fair, campfires, karaoke and corn hole. Sound like fun? Come out and join us! We are still in the planning stages for fall. We are looking into taking a cruise late October or early November. We will be having our club potluck next month. This is a great time to come and get your traveling feet wet. April was a busy month for our members. We had members traveling to Suprise AZ, Yuma AZ , Blyth, and Texas. Look for their great pictures in the coming months. Our new logo is on many of our rigs; thanks again, Russ. So excited the rain has stopped, the sun is out, and it's time to hit the road. Sounds great, but don't own an RV? Rent one and come join the fun. As always Campers, stay safe and happy camping. Mookie resting on Bubba at Emerald Bay Lovers Beach
