Golf Club From the President, Tom Moore: May is a transitional month. We're bidding a fond farewell to the warm days and chilly nights of Spring, and we're preparing for the "Dog Days" of summer. It's also a time to pause and remember our friends who are no longer among us. For those of you that aren't aware, several years ago a group of intrepid "mountaineers" scaled the hill to the Northeast of our community and installed a large white cross with a plaque listing the names of the Hemet 4 Seasons Golf Club members that have passed. Around Memorial Day each year a small group of hearty souls climb the hill to make any necessary repairs, tidy up the area, and install an updated plaque containing the names of the previous year's lost members. So, the next time you're out and about in our beautiful slice of paradise, please take a moment and look up at the cross on the hill to our Northeast and remember those golf club friends that are no longer with us. Until next month, hit 'em straight and stay out of the penalty areas. From the Secretary, Irene Becker: Our club celebrated St. Patrick's Day in March and it was very festive with everyone having varying degrees of green in their wardrobe. The scramble was a fun event- and we just missed the rain that day. Take a look at some of our members who dressed up for the occasion in the photos. From the Tournament Chair, Elliot Yaeger: The May schedule is as follows. PLEASE NOTE: Tee times are now at 7:30 am for Daylight Savings Time.
