24 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MAY 2023 This has been a challenging winter with all the rain (and snow) keeping us from being able to use the Corral as much as we all would like. But now that the winter is behind us, we can once again bring our pups to the Corral to play in the sunshine. In last month's Breeze, we announced our next Yappy Hour to be held at the Corral on April 29. Unfortunately, due to a conflict with our HOA garage sale, we have rescheduled the Yappy Hour to Saturday, June 10, between 9 and 11 am. Please save that date to join us, especially if you are interested in becoming members. If you have not already done so, and you and your dog(s) are currently members of the Canine Corral, please consider joining our Canine Corral Facebook Group, Four Seasons Canine Corral (https:// www.facebook.com/groups/638146317048512) to share pictures of your dogs in the Corral or to set up playdates. During our winter months, we have had groups meeting at the Corral on Saturdays and Sundays at 9 am and Wednesdays at 3 pm. However, with the weather warming up, we will be meeting at 8 am on Saturdays and Sundays, and possibly at 4 or 5 pm during the week due to the heat. Please check our Facebook page or contact any Council member for changes in days and times for the summer. Each member now has a roster of all current members along with contact information. Please feel free to use that information to set up other play dates with fellow members or ask any questions. Our membership has been growing over the last three months and we now have 40 dogs registered with more applications in progress. Please consider joining with your canine companion(s). They will thank you for giving them the opportunity to run free with their friends. The Canine Corral Council is still looking for additional members to join the Council. If you are currently a member of the Corral, please consider coming to our meetings on the first Thursday of each month at 10 am in the RCN Conference Room. It would be great to have additional members who could provide a new and different perspective to our group. The Social Committee is taking the month of May off to get ready for the event in June, which you do not want to miss. The event on June 24 is "Motown & Las Vegas." It is going to be a tribute to Donna Summer, Diana Ross, and Rod Stewart. Get your dancing shoes on. Please feel free to dress up; there will be a contest for best dressed Motown or Vegas-themed costume. Tickets go on sale May 22 at 9 am in the Ballroom. Price is $25 per person. On June 24, doors open at 5:15 pm, show starts at 6 pm. There is no assigned seating. Bring your favorite drink. There will be a door prize and four raffle baskets. The last two weeks before the event starts, if there are any tickets left, we will open it up to non-residents. Again, don't miss out on getting your tickets on May 22; this will be a sell-out event.
