56 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MAY 2023 Members of the Four Seasons Beaumont Water Volleyball Club have been enjoying all the wet weather we've had this winter by playing three times a week at The Summit indoor pool. Our winter session concluded on April 15 with two hours of play followed by a potluck pizza party. Our summer session is now in full swing, meeting outdoors at the Courts on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11 am to 1 pm. We have many activities planned for this summer in addition to our regular volleyball play. We will be holding multiple pizza and potluck get-togethers at the pool, as well as our annual end-of-summer community pool party celebration. We are always looking for new players to join in the fun, and all ages, heights, and skill levels are welcome. If you're looking for a low-impact physical activity, having fun and laughs with your friends and neighbors, then water volleyball is the sport for you. Come join us! We play on Tuesdays and Fridays at 9 am. If you are interested in learning the game, please join us. We have a great group of players who will welcome you. If you have questions, please call or text me at (909) 747-7087 or email hanknegrete16@yahoo.com. ~ Hank Negrete Move over, Pickleball — Combat Juggling is the hot new sport and it's here at Four Seasons. If you've never tried juggling or combat but have always wanted to, this club is for you. We meet Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at 4 pm at The Summit. We practice juggling from 4 to 4:30 pm then break off into groups of either one-against-one or four-against-four, depending on how many participants we have. The rules are simple: Juggle while walking menacingly toward your opponent(s). You are allowed to bark, shout insults (keep it clean!), or flirt — whatever you have to do to shake your opponents concentration. If they drop their pins, balls, or torches (depending on what we are using that day), you get a point. The person or team with the most points win. Losers buy dinner. Come on out and see what the sport that's sweeping the nation is all about! ~ Bozo the Clown
