It has been a cold and rainy winter, but the Four Seasons Pickleball
Club was lucky enough to have some nice weather for our in-house
Shamrock Shake-Up Tournament on March 25. The participants
were divided into two divisions with a rotating-partner format. Our
new players were encouraged to participate and we had a great turn
out. The competition was tough but tons of fun! Even the "Sweet
Pickles" who were "pickled" in one of their five games were smiling
at the end of the day. The Leprechaun Bracket Winners were: 1st
place, Jim Allard and Mike McGrath; 2nd Place, Dan Anguiano and
David Burchartz; 3rd Place, John Schaefer /and Dave Thomason. The
Shamrock Bracket Winners were: 1st Place, Kevin Van Den Oever
and Daniel Ward; 2nd Place, Bess Bushnell and Gary Condurachi;
3rd Place, Bernie Albanese and Bob Mendenhall.
We are continuing our weekly player development classes on
Saturday mornings at 9:30 am. Hope to see you all on the courts! ~
