I'm writing this on April 2 and we still haven't been able to play because of all the rain, especially on
Wednesdays. Things are looking up weather-wise now so we should be able to play again soon and
catch up on our tournaments and social activities. It's going to take a game or two to knock off all
the rust from our games, so looking forward to it. With all the snow-covered mountains around, the
view from our horseshoe venue is just spectacular. If you are not a member, I'm sorry you are missing
it, as well as the opportunity to join us in playing this great game. Come on out and join us. We play

Horseshoe Club
As always, we welcome new players, even if you are new to Paddle Tennis. We know you will
grow to love it. You can get some fellow players and set up a time to play. Or join us on Mondays,
Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays at 2 pm. No reservations required. Contact Lizzie or
Paco if you would like some instructions. Paddle tennis, aka Pop Tennis, took part in World Autism
Acceptance Day at the PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. Great work Pop Tennis.
Tennis and Pickleball also took to the courts for this great event.
Our paddle tennis group is saddened by the loss of one of our own players, Diana Johnson Ali, at
right. She played paddle on and off for about seven years. When not playing, you could hear her
from the bench, cheering us on, joking around with us or pointing out our mistakes. Diana was
a wonderful, fun-loving, and loyal person. We dearly loved her, and our paddle tennis family will
truly miss her beautiful smile and laughter. Our sincerest condolences to her husband and their
