Hopefully by the time this article is published in the Breeze, we
will see some dryer and warmer weather. (The articles are written
one month before the publish date.)
We continue to schedule a casual ride on the first Thursday of
the month at 11 am, meeting at The Summit. Our goals include
scheduling some weekend rides and even some out-of-the-area rides.
If you have any ideas, I'd love to hear them and present them to
our members. We welcome new riders. Our structure is very open
— just show up and join our ride. Looking forward to much more
activity as summer is coming – I hope.

e-Bike Club
As I am writing this article, I think that we can finally start thinking
of spring weather. What a winter we have had. Anyway, I have been
under the weather myself, so my apologies for no photos this month.
A great way to start getting some fresh air, exercise, and socialization
is to come out and play some shuffleboard. We play every Monday
and Saturday at 9 am on the shuffleboard courts at The Lodge, which
are located behind the swimming pool and next to the paddle tennis
courts. We now have our own quiet area in which to play. Shuffleboard
is an easy game to learn and anyone can quickly become proficient
at playing this game. Our games usually last about an hour and we
choose up different teams each time we play. This allows us to keep
the competition challenging and the games interesting. We play for
fun, but, of course, everyone likes to win. We have no losers, only non-
winners. We have a great core group of residents who play regularly.
However, we are always looking for new players, so if anyone
is interested or has any questions or concerns, please contact me.
Otherwise, please show up and we will give you an introduction to
shuffleboard if you have not played before. See everyone on Monday
and /or Saturday mornings at 9 am at the new shuffleboard courts. ~
