| LIFE IN SOLERA | MAY 2023 | 5 We would like to welcome two new ambassadors to our New Resident Welcome Advisory Committee: Margaret (Maggie) Bly and Jill Markman. We are excited to have you join us in welcoming new friends and neighbors to Solera OVG. We have a couple of spots still available for those who enjoy meeting new neighbors. We meet once a month on the fourth Friday at 1 pm. If you are an owner-resident, please stop by and see what goes on and meet the ambassadors. Thank you to all of the Clubs/Groups that participated in our Social Gathering on April 26. We appreciate your time and participation in the event, which helped us welcome our new residents to Solera Oak Valley Greens. It is our hope that you were able to sign up new members and present information about the activities we offer. As you know, we are now in the midst of our annual election for new Board members. You should have already received your ballot. There are two candidates on the ballot for three positions. There are three blank lines to fill in a name(s) of any of the write-in candidates. You have three votes for candidates. Our Annual Meeting is Wed., May 17 starting at 10 am. Your ballot must be received by the Inspection of Elections by that date or hand delivered prior to the beginning of this meeting (check voter instructions included in your packet). The new Board members will be effective at our Wed., June 21 Board meeting. You should have received a copy of the Annual Budget for our fiscal year 2023 – 2024 in the mail by or around April 30. We encourage you to look through this packet. On the front page it will list the new assessment rate beginning June 1, 2023. You will also see a copy of the budget and see where your assessments are spent.
