| LIFE IN SOLERA | MAY 2023 | 13
Solera residents
Jerry and Caryl Kay
and Irma Wozniak and
Irma's friend Maria
Busselle followed up
with Solera's Premier
World Discovery trip
flyers for a March, 2023
trip to New Orleans &
Cajun Country. What
a great time we all had.
We flew from Ontario
to New Orleans and
then enjoyed time in
New Orleans, Lafayette,
Baton Rouge, Natchez.
Some activities
included city tours,
riverboat trip, beignets
at Cafe Dumond,
French Market, New
Orleans Cooking
School Demo, mansion
tours and a dinner in
an antebellum home,
swamp boat tour,
Martin's accordions
(family owned who
handcraft and ship
concertina accordions
worldwide), state
Capitol and museum
tour, time at Tabasco
museum and factory
grounds, and much
more. All activities
were interesting and
varied and the weather
was on our side—in
the 70's and no rain.
Thanks Solera for
putting out the flyers
from Premier.
