Please join us as we celebrate Mother's Day with a delicious brunch featuring lox and bagels, eggs, French toast, potatoes, fruit and dessert on Sat., May 13 at 11 am in the South Clubhouse. Along with this joyous celebration, we will be showing a humorous, moving, intimate, and courageous film. Follow the transformation of an abusive mother and tumultuous mother-daughter relationship to that of acceptance and love as we follow the personal story of the filmmaker. Their relationship went from "Mommie Dearest" to "Dear Mom." It took years and a lot of work to get to become close friends, confidantes, and travel companions. Bring husbands, children, and grandchildren to celebrate your special day with YOU. Price for brunch: $15 pp for members, $20 pp for guests. Make your check payable to YCC and mail or deliver it to Maryanne Kirschbaum's house – 1942 Fairways Oaks - no later than March 31. Got hot nit gekent zayn umetum, hot er beshafn mames. It was started 20 + years ago and was led by Roger Smith and Mary Shea. Since then, Roger has recently passed away and Mary has moved to Texas, which has left the group without a leader. The group is going through new beginnings and in search of new writers, encouraging all past members to return to the fun and learning. Thomas May has volunteered to take over in the interim and is looking forward to hear new and exciting ideas and help the club grow. If you have an urge or can write, we encourage you to come to one of our meetings on the first Monday of the month at 1 pm in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room or on the third Thursday at 3 pm in the same location. Whether your interest is in stories, poetry, current events, history, or any genre, come and share your writings, thoughts, suggestions, or information. It's free, educational, and informative. Yiddish Culture Club The Yiddish Culture Club welcomes all residents of any denomination
