Tap Dance Chorale The Chorale of Sun Lakes, led by Director Mark Faber and accompanied by pianist LaVonne Jongerius, presented its Spring Concert Series in May. After a few months to rest our voices, we'll reconvene in September for our annual holiday season. We have two events planned for the summer — a picnic and a sing-along. Watch for more information. The Chorale is open to membership for any Sun Lakes resident. It is divided into five sections: Sopranos, Altos, Tenors, Basses, and Baritones. Our practice sessions are held on Mondays from 9:30 am to 12:15 pm. Prior to each of our two annual concerts, additional practices for individual sections are held. The Chorale's Holiday Concert Series will be presented in early December. Registration for the season will be held on Mon., Sept. 11 at 8:30 am in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room, followed by its first rehearsal from 9:30 am to 12:15 pm. A picnic and a sing-along are planned for the summer, so if you're interested in joining the Chorale, contact Chorale Director Mark Faber at (951) 797-0120, or dmfaber@me.com, or Secretary Linda Vieira at (951) 797-0315, or lvieira@eltree.com. The group now specializes in modeling numbers and executes routines in a military precision style. They will be doing a military routine at our cart parade on July 4th. If your club or group could use a military prelude to your meeting flag salute, or modeling for a luncheon or fashion show, give this group of knowledgeable ladies and gents a call. For availability and information, call or text Evelyn Hawkins at (951) 616-4542. Her landline is (951) 845-7199. They await your decision to enhance your event. Stardust Dancers Do you like to sing?
