Their warm smiles, colorful costumes, and extensive repertoire of regional Mexican dances keep the IDS Folkloric group in demand year round. As you might expect, this was especially true on Cinco de Mayo. They began the day at Summerfield Memory Care of Redlands, performing Guadalajara, Rebozo, Huateque, and a Polka. Later that afternoon, they did it all over again at The Lakes. Musical selections by Ed Avina rounded out the program. Thank you ladies, and Ed, for helping to make this holiday so special. Come see them for yourself at our MAGIC OF DANCE show on Aug. 5 and 6. In addition to Folkloric, IDS members and special guests will perform Chinese, Flamenco, Hawaiian, Indian, Jazz, Merengue, Indonesian and Filipino dances. You do not want to miss this fast paced, unique and exciting show. As a bonus, our Parade of National Costumes will take you to approximately 20 countries with dazzling, authentic costumes. Ticket sales in the Main Clubhouse Lobby will take place from 9am to 2pm, Monday through Friday, July 10 - 14, and again July 17 - 21. Show tickets are $15 per person. Table seating. Get a group together and make plans to attend. Tickets for the international appetizer buffet are $16 per person and will be available for sale with the show tickets. For those who enjoy a nosh while being entertained, keep in mind the appetizer plates must be purchased in advance.
