Sun Lakes Quilters
Although Charity Week begins June 5, I don't believe our meeting
schedule will be affected. We will be in the Main Clubhouse Bus Room
on June 5, then our monthly luncheon in the Atrium on June 8 at 11
am. June 19 and 26 we will be in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose
Room, as usual. All meetings are from 1 to 3 pm. There will be no
meeting June 12.
I often receive calls from people who have paper crafting supplies
they no longer use and are looking for a place to donate them. I always
tell them to bring them in on one of the days we meet. While most of
us already have more than enough supplies, we do have several new
crafters in our group who might just find some usable items. While
we appreciate the offers, we do ask that the items not taken go back
home with the person who brought them. We can advise as to some
other places they can be gifted.
I, for one, look forward to Mondays, when our fun group gets
together to catch up on each other's crafting lives, new projects, and
life in general. Our monthly luncheons are always popular, so we see
even more of our group's members at those functions.
