| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | JUNE 2023 | 33 Our June Dinner and Dance is on Thurs., June 15, which will be on the third Thursday of the month due to Charity Week. Doors for the event will open at 5:30 pm with the popular Tin Man's Heart supplying the music for the evening. Sign-ups for the June event will be held on June 1 beginning at 3:30 pm in the South Clubhouse. Meal selection will be made at the time you sign up. Please note the dinner price for members is now $30 and $32 for guests. If you miss the June 1 date to sign up and want to attend the dinner and dance, contact Donna Leone at (951) 797-0832 no later than the following Sunday afternoon. If you are unable to attend the event after signing up, you can request a take-out meal box. Contact Ann Hoefert no later than 2 pm on the day of the event at (909) 553-3292 and she will make arrangements for you to pick up your meal in the Bus Room at 6:15 pm on the night of the event. New members are always welcome and dues for 2023 are $25 per person, per calendar year. Are you new to Sun Lakes or a long-time resident and would like to attend one of our events to find out what our monthly dinner and dances are like? ICC has a try-before- you-buy opportunity available to Sun Lakes residents who have not been members in the past. Previous members do not qualify for this try-before-you-buy opportunity. So give ICC a try; you will find us to be a friendly group of people who enjoy socializing, dining, and dancing to live music each month. ICC Makua Hula Hawaiian Dancers Anyone interested in learning more about Hawaiian Hula dancing is welcome to join the Makua Hula Dancers every Wednesday from 10 am to 12 pm in the North Clubhouse. No previous dance experience is necessary. If you are interested in having the Makua Hula dancers perform for your event, or would like more information about our group, contact Perla Williams at (951) 467-833 or pearlyshellsdancer@gmail.com.
