AUDITIONS FOR A BULL IN THE
CHINA SHOP: Our final show for 2023
will be in October. Auditions will be held
on July 3 at 2:30 pm in the Main Clubhouse
Multipurpose Room. This show features
seven lovely ladies who attract the attention
of a young detective by staging a crime or
two. Their plans are complicated by a female
reporter who wants to report on their story.
The cast consists of five men and seven women. Scripts are available
on our website at SLPlayhouse.homestead.com. New members

ACTORS WORKSHOP NEW SESSION BEGINS JUNE 12 - NO
EXPERIENCE NEEDED! The Actors Workshop is a performance
group. We meet once a week to develop and rehearse scenes
to perform for Playhouse events and for Sun Lakes clubs and
organizations. Each session begins with theater games designed
to enhance creativity and self-confidence. Scenes for presentation
will be presented readers theater style or "script in hand." Session 2
meets on Mondays June 12 - July 17, from 1 to 3 pm and will perform
on July 19 at the Playhouse BBQ. Session 3 will begin on Aug. 9 at
1 pm and/or 6:30 pm in preparation for a September performance.
Mary Flynn has experience teaching and
directing theater productions for all ages.
We encourage all levels of experience to
