Come for great music, dancing, themed decorations, a full meal and of course wonderful fellowship around the table. We meet the first Friday of each month so come join us on June 2 for an Italian night at the South Clubhouse. We'll enjoy a delicious spaghetti meal and music by Toni Lopez and decorated by Peggy Knox and her great committee. Come dressed in your most Italian attire. Doors open at 5:30 pm. Where else can you get a night out with a great meal, music, and lots of dancing for just $18? A one-year membership is just $25. You can pay your dues by check to Barbara Jesus, 540 Pine Valley. Guests are welcome one time without paying membership dues. We do have some openings so invite your friends to join us for these great evenings of fun. Drop off your checks, made out to Paisano, in an envelope with your name and the friends you want to sit with, to Barbara Jesus by May 26. He was nicknamed the "King of Calypso." His album Harry Belafonte Calypso was his third album and was on the Billboard Music Charts for 34 weeks. From this album came two of Belafonte's greatest hits, "Day'O" and "Jamaica Farewell." As the years passed, other artists had songs with a Caribbean, Reggae, or Calypso flavor on the music charts.
