36 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JUNE 2023 Amphitheater It's time for the June concert down at the Amphitheater. This month we are all going to enjoy the great country rock sounds of the Eagles. Our band is Heartache Tonight, the most authentic-sounding tribute to the Eagles available today. Heartache Tonight have been singing four- and five-part harmonies together for years. With five different singers, they are able to capture the vocal nuances of the Eagles. The band also features the three-guitar approach that is necessary to truly recreate the Eagles unique blend of country and rock. You will believe you are at an Eagles concert at the Hollywood Bowl watching and listening to songs like Heartache Tonight, Hotel California, Life in the Fast Lane, and all the other great Eagles hits. Get your chairs and friends and come on down to the "Hotel Four Seasons." We promise it won't cause you a "Heartache Tonight" but give you a "Peaceful Easy Feeling." You may set up your chairs as soon as The Lodge opens on Sunday morning. Please no glass unsleeved to avoid broken glass in the area and also no blankets as place holders. Gather with your friends and "Take It Easy." Mike from the Bistro will again be selling food and drinks. See you all there. ~ Mark Lassen, lassenqa@aol.com We hope you enjoyed the PAC musical Remember When Rock Was Young as much as the cast enjoyed performing for our Four Seasons residents. Our Handbell Choir concert was fantastic, with so many residents enjoying their bell ringing abilities and other talents. Our next meeting will be in The Lodge Game Room on Monday, June 12 at 6 pm. You are encouraged to attend our bi-monthly meetings. You do not have to be in a show; all individuals interested in the Club can enjoy our meetings with socializing and snacks. Besides general business, Pat Wayne usually has something fun planned with audience participation. Mark your calendar… auditions will be held on Sunday, June 11 at 2 pm in the Ballroom for this year's Christmas show, A Dickens of a Christmas Carol, based on the classic story by Charles Dickens but with a comedic turn. There are many roles for actors including some that do not require the memorization of lines. We also need people to help with costumes, sound, lighting and set building. Come and join us. If you have any questions, please call John Horning at (323) 253-3854. PAC will be presenting two "Old Time Radio Shows" on Saturday, Aug. 26. Rehearsals will begin in mid to late June. If you need additional information, contact Tom Wasco at twasco16@gmail.com. Hope you can attend. Get on the mailing list if you are not already. Any questions or if you wish to be involved, contact Marianne Bugni, PAC Coordinator, at (920) 517-2739, email lamarib77@gmail.com or call Pat Wayne, President, at (949) 290-1811. ~ Marianne Bugni Performing Arts Club Karaoke is held every third Saturday and every first Tuesday of each month.
