FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JUNE 2023 45 On the evening of April 16, you may have asked yourself, "Did I just see some ladies going inside The Lodge wearing PJs and slippers?" The answer is yes, you did. That evening The Crown Divas event was a night at the movies. Attire: PJs and slippers. Menu: Popcorn, candy, and soft drinks. Goal: Have fun. We were also celebrating two birthdays, Diva Lady Scarlet and Diva Lady Cha Cha Champagne. The energy in the theater was as usual when we get together — friendly greetings and laughter. There were door prizes and gift baskets to be won. Pictures were taken. After the excitement calmed down, we settled into our seats with popcorn, candy, and soft drinks in hand, now ready to relax. Everyone enjoyed it so much that I think it is worth repeating for those that didn't get the chance to go. Keep an eye out for emails from Irene. She will let you know when any trips are planned. Also, check the Travel Group website as I try to keep that updated too. I can tell you we are planning a trip to Griffith Park and we are working on a holiday trip to the Grove and Farmers Market. This will be an all-day trip for shopping. Tobias from ACT is working on a couple of trips for us, one being a two or three day trip to Vegas. He is also working on some more theater trips. I am very excited about our Welcome to Hollywood Party in August — it is coming together nicely. I am sure everyone is going to enjoy it. We will have dinner, dancing, and entertainment.
