Wow… another month and the weather has not been kind to the
e-Bike Club. — too much rain and cold to have a genuinely good ride
day. We will still plan for an unstructured ride on the first Thursday
of the month at 11 am.
It's time to start planning some specific rides. If you have
something in mind or would like to float an idea for a ride, contact
me and I will pass it on to our membership.
We are always open to new members. If you have an e-Bike or have
questions about them, please contact me. We welcome new riders.
Our structure is open — just show up and join our ride.
Looking forward to much more activity as summer is coming

e-Bike Club
We hope that the cold, wet weather is finally behind us. Soon we
will be complaining about the weather being too hot. A great way to
start getting some fresh air, exercise, and socialization is to come out
and play shuffleboard. We play every Monday and Saturday at 9 am
on the shuffleboard courts at The Lodge, which are located behind
the swimming pool and next to the paddle tennis courts. We now
have our own quiet area at which to play.
Shuffleboard is an easy game to learn and anyone can quickly
become proficient. Our games usually last about an hour and we
choose different teams each time we play. This allows us to keep the
competition challenging and the games interesting. We play for fun,
but, of course, everyone likes to win. We have no losers, only non-
winners. We have a great core group of residents who play regularly.
We are always looking for new players however, so if anyone is
interested or has any questions or concerns, please contact me.
Otherwise, please just show up and we will give you an introduction
to shuffleboard if you have not played before. I hope to see everyone
on Monday and/or Saturday mornings at 9 am at the shuffleboard
courts. ~ Marty Rotman, (310) 948-1693, mrtmj@aol.com
