BON APPETIT CLUB
Hope everyone a good time at our Cinco de Mayo
luncheon. We had a great turnout and the food was
delicious. Tacos and Beer did a great job with the
food and a BIG thank you to Bianca for providing
drinks. I would also like to thank everyone who
came early or stayed late to help setup or breakdown.
The help was greatly appreciated. If you can help setup or stay and help
clean up at our June meeting, let Bianca know when you RSVP. We could
use two to three people starting at 11:30 am for setup and two to three
for clean up.
At our June meeting, LOT22 will be coming to talk about Balsamic
Vinegars and Olive Oils. This year, they will mainly focus on vinegars and
how to use them in a variety of ways, from appetizers to dessert. They
will also be bringing a variety of both that can be purchased after their
presentation.
The July and August meetings are still in the planning stages, so there
will be more information to come at the June meeting. September will be
a charcuterie demonstration; October will be Julissa from Beaumont High
School Culinary Program; November a Chili Cook Off and December our
holiday luncheon. This year seems to be flying by.
If anyone is interested in joining or knows of someone who is, please
contact one of our Board members. We added three new members this
month, which puts us at 75 members.
