| LIFE IN SOLERA | JUNE 2023 | 35 This group is made up of generally men, but women are always welcome. Our focus is on conversation and friendship. We meet every Wednesday in the Clubhouse between 8 and 9 am in the Arts & Crafts Room. It is typically a group of 10 to 20 people. We are led by a facilitator who ensures that everyone will have the opportunity to talk and encourages conversation. We have very interesting and diverse conversations. There are countless benefits you'll enjoy by joining this group, and they can vary from person to person. For more information about The Coffee Group, please contact George Vawter at (909) 253-3318 or via email hbwisenheimer1@yahoo.com. Come and check us out, and feel free to bring your favorite coffee mug! COFFEE GROUP Cinco de Mayo was celebrated by the Solera Sippers on May 6. What an event! We maxed out the capacity of the Oakmont rooms (there were 111 reservations – capacity is 112) and noshed on a taco bar provided by Paco's Taco's and danced to the music of Delaney & Jaymes. Our next event is June 24. It will be a bocce ball tournament held near the bocce ball courts in front of the clubhouse. You'll be able to sign up to play or just come and enjoy some fellowship (see flyer for details). Food will be provided FREE OF CHARGE TO MEMBERS by Raisin' Cane's Chicken courtesy of the Solera Sippers (vegetarian option will be available). Please, no guests allowed at this event. It's not too late to join the Solera Sippers. If you're considering doing so, please sign up soon so you can still take advantage of this no cost event. Membership also guarantees you the opportunity to partake in nine additional events through March, 2024. Wine fun fact: The largest wine bottle in the world (according to e Guinness Book of World Records) was produced for businessman Andre Vogel of Switzerland in 2014. It was over 13 feet tall and almost four feet in diameter. It held a staggering 800+ gallons of wine – or 4,125 standard bottles of wine. Membership is required if you are a Solera resident. For membership or other information, please contact Gary Stoh at (951) 845-1981 or garymstoh@aol.com. SOLERA SIPPERS Solera Sippers enjoyed a successful Cinco de Mayo
