Communication & Technology Advisory Committee (CTAC) The Communications & Technology Advisory Committee (CTAC) is in the process of developing a new website which will be controlled by onsite staff members. We have already taken the first step in developing that site by signing up for the services provided by HOA-Sites; a reputable website development service. A second step was to conduct a Website Usage Survey which was concluded in May. The purpose of the survey was to establish which features on the current Solera Website are most often accessed. This information is important to make sure that the most used features can be easily accessed by users. The survey tells us that the features accessed most often are: • Neighbor to Neighbor – 48% access daily or weekly • Upcoming Events – 40% access daily or weekly • News and Information – 37% access daily or weekly All other features are accessed between <1% and 13% (daily or weekly) Given this information, any new website design will make sure that access to the Neighbor to Neighbor, Upcoming Events, and News and Information features can be easily accessed without having to do an extensive search for the features or having to "click on" several links to get to those features. There are some features that we don't expect will be accessed daily or even weekly by most. However, some of these features are nevertheless important and ease of access to get to them is also very important when designing a new system. These features include the Gate Pass and Message to Management features. Another feature that is mentioned many times in the comment section of the survey was the Business Referral feature which was removed from the current website. Many residents would like to see it back in some form or another. To that end, the CTAC will endeavor to make sure that some type of business referral feature be included in any new site. The complete and detailed report can be accessed via www.SoleraCTAC.com/Website Usage Report.pdf. e Solera Oak Valley Greens Board of Directors created the Communications & Technology Advisory Committee (CTAC) to research, develop, and improve existing and new communication methods for the community. To accomplish our goals, we are looking to modify current communication methods, if needed, as well as institute state-of-the-art technological solutions in an effort to keep all residents informed. ~ Lane Joel, Chairperson | LIFE IN SOLERA | JUNE 2023 | 7 "Effective communication — a key ingredient in building trust and harmony."
