You may find yourself highlighted in an upcoming issue! To start off, here's a photo of an SDV resident enjoying her "staycation" right here on our back patio on a lovely spring day. VACATION VIEWS We have a full and exciting calendar for you this month. Jennifer from VNA Care will be at SDV on June 1st at 11 am for a discussion regarding issues impacting seniors today. The panel will be discussing topics such as Medicare Fraud, VA Benefits, estate planning, and hospice care. Celebrate National Donut Day in the lobby of the mountain view lodge on June 2 at 9 am. This free event is for residents only, no guests will be allowed. Residents must register by May 28 in order to participate. Enjoy a night of Music Under the Stars featuring the One 2 Many Band on June 3, from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. Residents are welcome to bring drinks and food to enjoy on our beautiful back patio. SDV Men are invited to join us for a Godfather-themed night with mobsters, spaghetti & meatballs, breadsticks, cannoli, and red wine on June 16 at 5 pm. Be sure to register by June 11. Meet us at Storm Stadium on June 30 to watch the Lake Elsinore Storm battle it out with the Inland Empire 66ers. The picnic starts at 6:30 pm, and the first pitch is at 7 pm. Ticket price includes Lot B parking pass, game entry, and picnic. The picnic menu includes grilled bbq/ fried chicken tenders, street dogs, ballpark nachos, macaroni and cheese, sliced fruit, and fountain beverages. Be sure to stick around for the firework display following the game. Registration for this event closes on Sunday, June 25.
