Pickleball, pickleball, pickleball… that's all we hear
about! And why not? We had a blast at our monthly
pickleball tournament on May 6. We had 24 players
vying for the top spots. Tom McClure took the Men's
Division, with Rich Brown winning the Mixed Doubles
contest. Roswitha Melander and Dorothy Furrer came
out on top in the Women's Division.
Once again, we had quite the spread of tasty food for
the throngs to enjoy. We are looking forward to our next
tournament on Saturday, June 3. Please join us; all are
welcome. If you have never played and would like to
learn, give me a call for free lessons.

The Colony's Tai Chi class welcomes interested
and curious residents to come and try this
relaxing form of exercise. Join us every Tuesday
and Thursday in the Auditorium. The hour-
long class starts promptly at 3:30 pm. There is
no need to sign up, just come and participate.
Please make sure to wear loose clothing and
supportive shoes.
NOTE: There will be no class on the following
dates: June 1, July 11 and 13, Aug. 8 and 10, and
Sept. 12 and 14.
