The results are in for the May Paddle Tennis Tournament, and the winners were Tom McClure and Karen Nichols. Our lovely and gracious host was Mary Crockett, and of course Ellen Micheli helped set up teams and post the scores, as she does for every tournament. Thank you, ladies! Looking for a fun "spin" on tennis? John Knitter is offering a morning of "Phantom Doubles Tennis" on Saturday, June 17 from 9 to 11 am. What the heck is Phantom Doubles Tennis, you might ask? Well, per John, it is a game of singles tennis, with the ball played and hit into half of the court only. It's a great game for those who don't cover the full court like they used to, and a fun game for every level to sharpen your skills. If you wish to give it a try, call John at 951-805-2456 and he will arrange an appropriate match for you and explain the rules. No cost is involved to play, so why not give it a shot? If you are interested in learning Paddle Tennis, please call Ellen Micheli at 951- 741-5372, or Karen Nichols at 619-550- 8194, and we will be happy to set up an instructional game for you at no charge. Interested in tennis? Call John Knitter for free lessons. Hope to see you on the courts!
