New information: red. Deleted information: strike through. ARTICLE 17 -- PAINTING PROCEDURES 17.1 Submission for Architectural Control Committee Review. Homeowners desiring to paint the exterior of their home shall submit a completed "Application for Painting Approval" form, available in the Homeowners Association Office (HOA). 17.2 Color Scheme Selection. 17.2.1 Only the current approved exterior color schemes can be used. No previous approved color books or original "builder" colors can be utilized. The approved exterior color schemes are shown in "The Colony at California Oaks Paint Book," available in the HOA office. A paint book may be checked out of the office upon submission of the required deposit. Paint sample cards, for colors depicted in the current color schemes, are available in the HOA office. 17.2.2 Color schemes are to be used in accordance with the following: (a) Stucco, trim and accent colors are grouped in each scheme as associated colors. (b) Scheme colors may not be interchanged with colors shown in other schemes. (c) Accent colors are optional, not required. (d) If white from the White Option page is chosen as a stucco color, a trim and/or accent color, from any of the paired schemes, may be selected. e) If white from the White Option page is chosen as a stucco color, a trim and/or accent color, from any of the paired schemes, may be selected. (e) Stucco must be painted with a flat, eggshell, or satin paint. Semi-gloss and gloss paint are not allowed. Trim and accent colors may be painted using a satin finish. (f ) Garage doors may be painted the stucco color, the trim color, or a white from the White option page. (g) Two coats of paint are required, using a known brand such as Sherwin Williams, Vista, Valspar, Behr, Olympic, etc. (h) If any White Option is chosen on any portion of a residence, only one white option can be used as a stucco color, trim, or accent. Multiple White Options cannot be used. In accordance with Civil Code #4360, Rule Making Procedures, these proposed rule revisions are presented for member review. Please provide, in writing, any comments or questions you may have regarding these revisions to the Board of Directors within 30 days of this receipt. PROPOSED RULE REVISION
