48 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JULY 2023 Quilting Enthusiasts Hello one and all. We sincerely hope that this little article finds you all enjoying the summer with your grand and great-grandchildren, family, and friends. As I write this article, I'm sitting here in Northeastern Colorado at a dear friend's working cattle ranch. They have had lots of rain here and the hills and pastures are beautifully green and the cattle fat and slick. It's thundering and rain continues to fall and now the sun is shining. We thought California weather was wild, so is Colorado's! July has the Long Beach Quilt show arriving on July 6-8. If you get a chance to take a drive, go see the amazing quilts on display. They are out of this world! Even if you don't quilt, they are a must see. As a friendly reminder, the Quilting Enthusiasts are NOT meeting in July or August this summer. Our next meeting, open to one and all, is Sept. 14 at 1 pm. Sit-n-sew is still the third Thursday and is open for ALL sewers and quilter's alike. Come visit, share and get help. It is recommended that you let one of the members know that you are planning on coming. As always, enjoy your summer vacation time with your families and friends. ~ Mary M. Ceramics Class has something for the novice crafter who is looking for a new hobby and a crafter who has experience and wants to create unique designs or pieces for friends and family. In addition to individual projects, throughout the year we offer class projects to teach new techniques. Come and join in the fun. Drop by the Arts & Crafts Room to see our monthly ceramics class schedule and learn more about our upcoming class projects. We meet Wednesdays from 1 to 4 pm. Please see the class schedule for any exceptions. A certified instructor and/or an experienced team lead is available to support your crafting needs. Participation is at your own pace and frequency.
