Bocce I hope by the time you read this we are having some sunshine and nice summer weather. It has been a LONG winter. Recently the courts have been polished and getting ready for league play to begin. We will be having our league sign ups in August. Look in the August Herald for the date. In the meantime, join a few of us on Monday and Friday mornings to play a friendly game or two, no cost, no commitment. Come when you can. Brush up on your skills or learn the game. You can always checkout equipment and play on your own. Stop by e Lodge desk and they will explain the procedure. For your safety, don't walk on the courts; they become very slippery when the cornmeal mixture is applied. Have a safe and fun Fourth of July. Happy Birthday America! ~ Toni Harri, chairperson Shuffleboard We have a few people interested in playing horseshoes. ere is a horseshoe league that plays on Wednesday mornings at 8 am at different locations around Hemet. We practice Saturdays at 8 am. Horseshoes Pickleball Morning Pickleball: Come join the fun! We play on Tuesdays, ursdays, and Saturdays from 7:30 am to noon. We know you'll have as much fun as we do. Evening - Pickleball Club: We currently play on Monday through Friday from 5 to 7 pm (weather permitting). We invite anyone who would like to play Pickleball to come join us. Players of all skill levels are welcome. We don't just love playing Pickleball; our group also gets together once a month on a Sunday at e Lodge Game Room. We each bring something to eat and play the game of Sequence. is game is a card and board game: lots of fun, and even better, there's a lot of laughing going on!
