| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JULY 2023 | 7 Happy Fourth of July! I'm going to start July's article off by telling you the names of the lucky winners of the drawing for the "Sunday Brunch for Two" which are Michael and Marie Eckert. eir ticket was drawn by Sonja, one of our longtime Bistro waitresses. Now moving on from that fun stuff and on to something more serious. Francisco is finding he must start charging for to-go cups. When you purchase a beverage, the cup, ice and refill are included, with or without a meal. is increase happens when people bring their own beverages, purchase food elsewhere from outside vendors, or bring in potluck meals, and then expect him to contribute free cups, lids, straws and ice. It doesn't stop with just the drinks! When things are forgotten at home, people expect him to save the day and furnish them the needed plates, napkins, silverware and to-go boxes for free. It's not just once in a while but way too oen. is is a cost to him with no business from you. Going back to the drink cups, we did a search on the internet. If we bought 500 16 oz cups, the price was $155, or 27 cents each. Lids were $78 for 1,000 or 7.8 cents each. at comes to a cost of $.35 each which does not include the liquid, shipping, tax or even the straw. I hope you understand this change is necessary. One last thing about our Bistro — we the residents need to remember that Francisco makes his livelihood by being open to us seven days a week, trying to please us and our palates. He needs our continued support. When you are out shopping and you see a sign for In-N-Out Burger, Taco Bell, KFC – suddenly your tummy starts urging you for a beverage or snack. Francisco doesn't have that advantage of the spur of the moment drive-by customer, he has only us, the residents of Four Seasons for patrons. Certain times of the day are busy (meal time crunch) which is followed by lulls with no action. Keep that in mind as a great time to pop in for a snack or an uncrowded relaxed meal. at said, I thank you for your past patronage and please continue to support Francisco with your events, parties and dining pleasure. We are so fortunate to have him here in our Four Season's domain and at our beck and call for our dining pleasure. at's me, Patt, double "T" Name: _____________________________________________________________________________________ Address: ___________________________________________________________________________________ Phone: _____________________________________________________________________________________ FREE SUNDAY BRUNCH FOR TWO at the Bistro at Four Seasons Not valid on holidays or special events.
