| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JULY 2023 | 15
Happy Independence Day! As we enjoy the
freedoms we embrace as Americans, let's give
pause to remember the birth of our heritage and
our many blessings on a daily basis. Traveling
around our beautiful country, and partaking in
local day trips, reminds us all of what we are to
be thankful for, and to appreciate the treasures
lying within our land.
Our trip to Rose Haven Heritage Garden in Temecula is just one
of those local treasures. For those who went, we all commented
the same "wow" experience, not realizing we had something so
beautiful right in our own neighboring backyard. Followed by
lunch at a new haunt, the Pangea Greek/Italian restaurant on
Jefferson was everyone's new favorite.
Our next regular meeting will be held in the resident home/
garden of Gene and Karen Hikel on Mon., July 10 at 1 pm.
Address is 8405 Singh Court and as is always customary, please
bring lite snacks to share. As of this writing, no excursion plans
are scheduled for July; however, that could
change at a moment's notice. Attending our
meetings is the best way to stay in touch on
our latest FUN trips!
We love to have residents of our Four Seasons
family join us in meetings, for excursions and
to experience with us forever friendships. For
the rest of 2023, we will be meeting in club members' homes, in
lieu of the Arts & Cras Room. Stay tuned here for addresses in
each edition.
Sharing gardening tips, traveling together, learning from each
other, and cultivating forever friendships are the blooms growing
in our gardens. Late Bloomers meets every second Monday of the
month at 1 pm, usually followed by an excursion planned later in
the month.
All residents are welcome to attend meetings and trips. For
more information, please contact Sharon Deuber at (760) 500-
0077 or Sharon@BlackDiamondInvestments.net.
