Among the passengers on the "Big Red Car" were staff members Mari Cruz and her son Albert Salazar, Diana Cayente and her children Luna and Pedro, plus Board member Fred Kydd. model Railroad Club Tennis Friends at Four Seasons enjoyed a special day on May 20. An informal competition was held in the morning, under blue skies and cool temperatures. About 15 competitors participated in round robin matches, and everyone was a winner just by being there. In the aernoon the Tennis Club annual Potluck was held followed by the presentation of the Spirit Award. is award is given each year in memory of Bill Koretke, who, with his wife Bernadette (who still resides in Four Seasons), lived for tennis and played all over the world. Award recipients also love tennis and carry forward Bill's wonderful sportsmanship and enthusiasm for life. is year's recipient is Hank Alberts, who began playing with Bill some 18 years ago, and is still a very gied, and enthusiastic player. He is pictured below, right receiving the Spirit Award from prior recipients, Chuck Sims and Earl Irvine. We would love to welcome new players. Courts are in use most mornings, and all are welcome, no matter your skill level. Also, the courts are lighted for evening play, which may become preferable as summer approaches. A ball machine is available for practice sessions, just speak with e Lodge attendant.
