If you did not attend this presentation, you can still get all the safety tips that were given by Chris Grant from READYHUB by watching the replay on Channel 97 or on the Sun Lakes website under Community Awareness. I have been asked for information on Securitas Patrol and their responsibilities and limitations. Here's what Securitas Patrol CAN DO: • Respond to loud noise complaints • Respond to barking or loose dog complaints • Respond to suspicious vehicle or person calls • Respond to property damage and take an incident report • Assist in searching for any missing person • Respond to unauthorized vehicles entering the property • Escort Process Servers to the property being served • Respond to vehicle accidents • Conduct welfare checks of residents • Enforce parking violations • Respond to complaints of individuals on the golf course by foot from the street • Respond to suspicious people outside of the community who might jump the fence • Assist with directing traffic when backed up at the gates • Remove Estate Sale or Open House signs that are placed on HOA common areas • Lock up HOA facilities • Patrol the RV storage lot • Follow AMR or CDF to conduct an incident report of transportation of a resident What Securitas Patrol CANNOT DO: • Lift assists, jumpstarts (vehicles or golf carts), give rides • Help with getting inside of a home or vehicle • Go inside a property • Take or handle an animal • Make arrests, detain people, search a person or their belongings • Get involved with domestic disputes • Physically break up a fight • Enforce parking rules outside the community • Enter a property to close a garage door • Hold packages or deliveries at the gates • Determine who is at fault in a traffic accident • Remove dead animals Please join us for our next program on Homeless Awareness on July 11 from1 to 3 pm in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom.
