Rules & Regulations serve only as a supplement to the Association's existing Governing Documents. Information below is not all-inclusive list of rules, regulations, & responsibilities of every homeowner. I will provide keys points. All information is on the SDV website under Governing Documents. 7.7 Parks and Open Lawn Areas: ere are various outdoor areas throughout the community that can be used for self-directed or passive recreation activities; e.g., walking paths, courtyards, picnic pavilions, & open areas adjacent to Association facilities. All areas are unsupervised & caution should be exercised when using them. e parks & open lawn areas are available for the drop-in use & enjoyment of residents, guests, & family members on a first come, first serve basis. Scheduled Association activities will take priority. 7.8 Recreation Center – Social Building: 7.8.1 General: a. Scheduling of the Association's Recreation Center activity program rooms are the responsibility of the Lifestyle Director. Maintenance of the facility rests with the Staff. b. All setup, take-down, & moving of tables and chairs will be accomplished by the staff. 7.8.2 Multi-purpose Meeting Rooms: a. Multi-purpose meeting rooms must be reserved through the Lifestyle Director. Rooms will generally be provided at no fee to Association Chartered Clubs & Special Interest Groups, & for resident activities sponsored through the Association. e Board may set reasonable limits on the number of times facilities may be booked on a complimentary basis. Fees for reserved use of facilities have been established by the Board. b. Operable walls provide added flexibility to configure rooms for small & large functions. Room capacities & various set-up arrangements can be obtained from management. Audio- visual equipment & individual room sound controls are also available. c. Rooms may be decorated in good taste, but under no circumstances will decorations be allowed that mar or otherwise alter the interior décor of the facility. d. Catering services may be arranged & must be approved by the Lifestyle Director. Under most circumstances, approved catering will be permitted in designated areas of the facility. e. Outside entertainment may be arranged and must be approved by the Lifestyle Director f. Alcoholic beverages may not be brought into this facility without the advance approval of the Lifestyle Director. In all situations, alcohol that is sold for consumption must be under the auspices of a State liquor license. Whether alcohol is sold under license or dispensed in a private party setting, the event sponsor remains responsible for the appropriateness of the event. 7.9 Priority For Use of Facility: In order to maximize the use of the clubhouse facilities, the following priority has been established for scheduling use of the facilities: 1. Solera Diamond Valley Board of Directors for sponsored events, classes, or meetings. 2. Events for the benefit of residents coordinated through the Lifestyle Department. 3. Events or meetings sponsored by committees, ad-hoc committees, &/or sub-committees of the Solera Diamond Valley Board of Directors. 4. Approved Chartered Club activities. 5. Approved Special Interest Group activities. 6. Private Party use. Community Updates By Tyler Barber, Property Services Manager e EPAC storage shed is scheduled to have the doors replaced on June 23rd. When that is completed, EPAC will be able to replace missing items, and they can begin holding events again. In the Lodge, the carpets were deep cleaned in early June.
