Greetings Papercraing Club members
and fellow craers here in OHCC! It's the
height of summer and many of our group
are off vacationing, visiting friends and
family and seeing the sights! Although
our weekly classes have fewer attendees
during summer, the craing continues
all year long! And isn't it wonderful that
papercraing is one of those hobbies that
is travel friendly.
Here are some of our groups' recent
creations that we wanted to share. Group
1 has made some beautiful Dahlia-fold
cards. Just stunning, ladies! And Group 3
made some gorgeous patriotic cards for the
4th of July. Lastly the TOTES group made
beautiful rolled flower cards that are meant
to be given in person… they wouldn't fare
too well sealed in an envelope.
I recently came across a new
papercraing technique on YouTube and I
wanted to share it with all of you. I'm really
excited about trying it as it was news to me,
although I'm sure it's not new to our master
craers. Still, since beading is one of my
other hobbies, I was drawn to this title
and had to watch it. It's a tutorial on how
to make paper beads and it is just genius.
