46 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | AUGUST 2023 | Computer Club Our next meeting will be Sept. 14 at 1 pm in the Multipurpose Room. Meetings are on the second Thursday of each month. We are dark for August. September's topic will be how to buy a cell phone. Handouts for monthly topics and more info can be found on the Sun Lakes website (sunlakescc.com) under Computer Club. Go to sunlakescc.com, Clubs and Groups, then scroll to Computer Club. The Computer Club is for people of all computer skill levels. Each meeting will feature various presentations. This is a great way to share information and learn some of the ways to become an effective computer user. One way to get information about what's happening here in Sun Lakes is to go to the Sun Lakes website. If you are on Facebook, you can go to the Good Day Sun Lakes page. Wine Club The next event for the Wine Club is a blind tasting of six different white wine varietals scheduled for Sat., Aug. 5. If you signed up for this new event, please BYOG (bring your own glass) and additional wine if you would like to stay for socializing with others after the event. Everyone will receive a raffle ticket for several bottles of wine that will be raffled off. This event will be held at the North Clubhouse and doors will open at 5 pm. The Steering Committee is currently working on planning the last big Wine Club event of the year scheduled for Sat., Oct. 7 in the ballroom. It is sure to be another outstanding event, so watch this space for more information. Not a member of the Wine Club? Dues for 2023 are only $10 per person. Applications for brand new members are available in the racks located next to the information desk in the Main Clubhouse Lobby. It is important to include your email address if you have one, so we can send you information on club events.
