| LIFE IN SOLERA | AUGUST 2023 | 3 FROM THE BOARD By Cindy Bice Hello to all and hoping your summer has been filled with good friends, family, food, and fun! We would like to thank all of you who have supported HOA and RAAC events throughout the year. We have had several new events added this year from the HOA, and looking forward to all the new ones yet to come. Thank you to those who are new members in a Club or Group; we're hoping to see membership numbers grow as more residents take part in the activities. We have a choice to cultivate warm relationships which can boost happiness and success in life. It's so important to find joy and fellowship in each of our lives and our HOA offers that to all who call Solera home. Every one of us who lives here has different ideas, beliefs, and views on the world… especially our world of Solera. We are all entitled to those views, beliefs, and how things should be done. As we move forward, only wanting the very best for all of us, we need to have a positive attitude, can-do spirit, a get-it-done mind set, and we will get there. YOU have a part in that. Your greatest tool is the Message to Management to get your ideas, thoughts, comments, and questions heard. A few others ways to be supportive in the community include: • Ask questions before making statements, criticizing or accusing others. Facts are key. • Join a committee to help share the load. • Find ways to enhance our community. • Be a positive influence by building up. • Help be the change. • Thank volunteers for their time in maintaining the wonderful Clubs and Groups. • Most importantly … treat others as you would like to be treated.
