By Dennis Haffeman, Resident
e Veterans Club of Solera Diamond
Valley has been supporting local
organizations that aid our Veterans. It
is through the generous donations of our
club members and the events we hold
that enable us to fund activities that help
them.
Your participation in the Solera
Diamond Valley events, like Memorial
Day, Silent Auctions, and donations at the
beer gardens, help us achieve our goals of
helping local Veterans. We thank you for
your generous donations throughout the
year.
is year we have been very proud to
help Veterans that are seeking a higher
education at Mt. San Jacinto College. ey
have a Veterans resource center at the
college dedicated to providing resources
to our Veterans through computers for
course work, counseling for classes,
assistance with navigation in Veterans
Affairs, and a place to hang out with other
Veterans to swap stories and support each
other with their educational endeavors.
e center is called "End of the Trail"
Veterans Club and we are proud to be able
to help them in this small way. With your
donations we supply them with snacks,
drinks, and coffee to help make this a
"go-to" spot for our Veterans on campus.
rough your donations we can purchase
supplies each month and deliver them to
the center. Every time we stop by with
supplies, they are most appreciative of our
efforts and goodies for them.
If you want to donate directly to this
project, the spare change jug is in the
Lodge Lobby.
