Evening Bingo has worked very well for all these years. In fact, in 2023 we have had the largest player turnouts than we have ever had. e current Bingo Board has worked very hard to increase awareness of Bingo. We now have a website as well as an email address that is monitored and updated on a regular basis by Lynn Bible who does double duty as our Treasurer. Every month I, Adele, write the articles for OHCC Living. When I am not pretending to be the next Irma Bombeck, I am also the President of Bingo. Jeannine Ferrari, another Board member, has taken on the task of managing our almost 30 volunteers that are the core of making Bingo work each month. Jeannine took on this task with a smile and amazing organizational skills. Even with all the work each Board member has done, I felt we were missing a portion of our OHCC population. Not everyone can or wants to come to the Clubhouse in the evenings. So please join us at the Clubhouse for our first aernoon Bingo on Sept. 9. All the fun of the evening but in the daylight. As an unexpected but very welcome surprise the new HVAC system installation will be completed at the Clubhouse, so we will be very cool and comfortable during the warmest portion of the day. Remember the more players that attend the larger the jackpots. If we can get the same numbers during the day that we get during evening Bingo, we will put aernoon Bingo into the 2024 schedule again. Aer Bingo on Sept. 9, our last game of the season will be Oct. 14. Bingo will take our usual winter break in November and December.
