Don't miss our Fall Holiday Craft Show! It will be a great place to get a start on your holiday shopping, as our Sun Lakes residents will have tons of homemade crafts and goodies for sale. Admission to the show is free. For those who are interested in being a vendor: SPACE IS LIMITED. We will be using the lottery system for the crafters to pick their tables. The lottery box and registration form will be in the Main Clubhouse Lobby beginning Mon., Sept. 18 through Sun., Sept. 24. Table locations will be drawn on Mon., Sept. 25 at 9:30 am. Please note the vendor fee is $10 per table (checks only) and all items for sale must be handcrafted. Sat., Oct. 28, 9 am on the Driving Range, $6 per entry (checks only). Join the Recreation Department and Recreation Advisory Committee for our annual Halloween Dog Costume Parade. This event is $6 per dog to register with a limit of 50 registered dogs. Awards will be handed out to Best Overall Costume, Most Creative, Most Glamorous, and Scariest. All dogs that participate will receive a treat. Light beverages will also be provided for everyone. Registration will start on Tues., Sept. 5. Deadline to register your dog is Thurs., Oct. 27 by 4:30 pm. Please sign up with the Recreation Department in the Main Clubhouse or call (951) 845-2191. FALL GARAGE SALES Start cleaning out those garages for our Fall Garage Sales. Sales are 8 am to 4 pm. Residents are asked to have any remaining items that did not sell back into their homes after the garage sale. Dates and district participation are as follows: Oct. 7: Districts 14, 15, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 & 23 Oct. 14: Districts 2, 3, 5, 7, 16 & 17 Oct. 21: Districts 1, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 & 13 COMMUNITY SHREDDING Fri., Oct. 6, 9 am to 12 pm, Main Clubhouse parking lot; $5 per box. Do you have boxes of paper just lying around taking up space? If so, we have a solution for you. I-Shred will be on-site so you can get rid of those confidential papers that you no longer need without having to drive to a place and pay a large fee. No sign-ups are required.
