Florence Gloria Howes-Oddo Florence Gloria Howes-Oddo was born July 18, 1935 in Toronto, Canada to Walter and Lily Howes. Flo was one of 12 siblings raised in a two-bedroom home. Flo married Albert DeFrancesco and had their first son Tony in Canada. They moved to California in the 1950s where they had two more sons, Michael and Phillip. Flo worked in the Radiology department at City of Hope for 28 years before retiring and moving to Sun Lakes in Banning. Flo was blessed to spend the last 16 years of her life married to Vince Oddo who preceded her in death last year. Her son Tony also preceded her in death. Flo is survived by her sons Michael and Phillip DeFrancesco, three grandchil dren, four great-grandchildren and several she considered family through Papa Vinnie. Flo will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, loving heart and delicious cooking. John Joseph Mahoney, age 86, passed away on July 29, 2023, at his home with his loved ones by his side. John was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was a retired veteran, an engineer by trade, a devoted and proud husband, father, and grandfather. John worked for 50 years in General Nucleonies Inc. as Vice President and General Manager. John was more notably known for his hosting skills. He loved golfing, singing, dancing, sharing a smile, and laughing with anyone who came his way. John is survived by his wife Regina Mahoney of 19 years, his brother Mortimer Mahoney, four children, and seven grandchildren.
