FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | SEPTEMBER 2023 45 Amphitheater It's hard to believe, but here we are at the last Amphitheater concert of the 2023 season. Well, we have a great one! Have you ever wanted to see the outstanding band U2 and couldn't get tickets or the "mega" price for tickets was not in the budget. Sunday, Sept. 17 at 7 pm down at the Amphitheater we are going to have the U2xPERIENCE perform. The U2xPERIENCE, the Ultimate Tribute to U2, is arguably one of the best U2 tribute bands in the world. The show is a near perfect recreation of a live U2 concert that sonically, and visually, captures audiences. They not only sound like U2, they look like them, and sing and play 100 percent live with a raw rock and roll energy just like U2. The performance moves fans, and those new to the U2 catalog, with the beautiful sound and message. These world-class artists have performed internationally and have graced the stages of Carnegie Hall, The Royal Albert Hall, Marc Cuban's AXS TV show "The World's Greatest Tribute Bands," Kleinhans Music Hall with the Buffalo Philharmonic, and many more. Get your friends and neighbors and come to the Amphitheater for a great time. Chairs can be set up anytime after The Lodge opens on Sunday. Please no blankets as place holders and all glass bottles must be in protective covers. Mike and the Bistro crew will be serving hamburgers, hot dogs, snacks, and margarita mix for sale. It will be a great evening. A special very big thank you to the Amphitheater team who help make it all possible: Bill and Mary Christelman, Brenda Florio, Alton and Christina Gray, Cindy Graves, Terry Hall, Tom Olsen, and Cindy Schwinn. ~ Mark Lassen, lassenqa@aol. com Our next meeting will be in The Lodge Game Room on Monday, Oct. 9 at 6 pm. Come to a club meeting to socialize and meet new residents. We continue to grow as a club and source of free entertainment to our community with various shows throughout the year. All are welcome to come to a meeting with socializing and snacks. Besides general business, our President Pat Wayne usually has something fun planned with audience participation. Our next event will be the second rendition of "Name that Tune" in The Lodge Ballroom on Friday, Sept. 22 at 6 pm. So again, circle this date for a fun time. Karen Belcher will reprise her wonderful performance as the director, producer, and event coordinator for the evening. The theme is "Rock and Roll" so get your thinking caps on. The members have been rehearsing for the upcoming holiday comedy show, A Dickens Carol Gone Wrong. Mark your calendar for Dec. 1-3. To get your name on our mailing list or for more info, please contact Marianne Bugni, PAC Coordinator, at (920) 517-2739 or email lamarib77@gmail.com. ~ Marianne Bugni Performing Arts Club
