e Petal Pushers Garden Club is excited to welcome students from Murrieta Vista
High School to e Colony on Tuesday, Sept. 26, at 1 pm to talk about the challenges
the monarchs have faced and the need for planting milkweed. ey will also discuss
the different types of milkweed plants.
In collaboration with the Riverside Master Gardener program, the students planted
and have been growing narrow leaf milkweed in their greenhouse at the High School.
ese were grown to be shared and expand the monarch food sources in the local area.
ey will be bringing plants for us to plant in our gardens.

e Colony Cousins Genealogy Club will present "Problem
Resolution Round Table Session" on Tuesday, Sept. 12, at
1 pm in the Annex. In this session, we will have a panel of
experienced genealogists available to help people in their
research regarding a relative of interest. Using Pedigree and
Family Group Sheets with a timeline, you can present your
question about a fascinating relative and learn from our panel
about options for new discoveries about that person.
Our club helps members advance their family genealogy.
Visitors are always welcome. Our meeting will start promptly
