A Look Back, From the Outside In… Twenty years ago, I was working in a neighboring active adult community. We wondered what kind of impact a new 55+ community would have on our business. First, we had an influx of RV owners book long- term rentals as they were eager to be near the location where their new homes were being built. e expectant homeowners could watch the progress of their new build. Once our new friends were able to move in their homes, it was pretty quiet. en aer a few years, all the beautiful amenities started to go in. Let me tell you those Pickleball courts were a pain in my behind long before I was the staff member who had to inform you they had to be closed for re-surfacing last year. ey were the envy and model of a highly-desired new facility where I was employed. Several years of hearing how Four Seasons had the right fencing, the right benches, the blah blah blah. Oh, and let's not forget how Four Seasons added a Resident Gate so they didn't have to wait behind guests trying to check-in. e Four Seasons at Hemet even has their own restaurant! is newer community was certainly making its mark as a premier place to live and play. e biggest hit the neighboring property took was when Four Seasons acquired their Activities Director. I am very grateful for the opportunity to celebrate with you as a part of your community. e countless hours invested by past and present Board members, committee members, and club volunteers have created a safe, beautiful and fun place to come to work and for so many to live.
