| OHCC LIVING | OCTOBER 2023 | 29 Hello Papercraing friends and those who love getting paper craed gis and cards! It's October and Autumn is upon us. It's time for craing spooktacular cards and decorations for the upcoming Halloween festivities. You can stop by the Art Room on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays to see what Groups 1, 3, 4 and 5 are up to. I'm certain you'll enjoy getting a peek at them making their gorgeous creations for fall. Also coming up in October is the Club's new Create-A-on. On the weekend of Oct.14 from 9 am to 12 pm) and 15 (1 to 4 pm), in the Art room, members who have signed up will be working on these beautiful papercra projects: A Forever Sunflower, A Forever Cone Flower, A Forever Cornflower, A Stand-up Forever Flowerpot, A Paper Collage Vase, and A Paper Piecing Sunflower. We'll showcase these works of art in our November photographs. But for now, we're showcasing our wonderful Zoom Group 2. Quietly working on their own, Group 2 members prefer to gather with friends electronically, rather than at the Clubhouse, each working on their weekly projects from the comfort of their homes and then sharing and collaborating and enjoying their craing together on Zoom. Back in July, the group got together to celebrate the birthday of their fearless leader, Diana Hoffman, and we've got the pictures to prove it! e lovely ladies of Group 2 made beautiful cards for Diana, and it looks like she had a great time with her pals. Happy Birthday Diana and thanks to your members for sharing their creations. ey are Terry Eckhardt, Vicky Herrmann, Kathy Hunt, Alice Lange, Jill Lemons, Sharron Seidenberg, Ellin Whitson, and Jackie Windes. And since I didn't get to do a full article last month, allow me to extend a sincere belated Happy Birthday to our September birthday celebrants!
