The Crown Divas, in appreciation to our Beaumont Police and Sheriff Departments, presented Sean Thuilliez, Chief of Police, with gift cards. We thank them for an exceptional job on protecting all the citizens in our community during the fires. This month we had our craft event. We made floral arrangements. Would you believe instead of small baskets we used small tin cans? The cans were bent and painted then decorated with colored stickers. We used fall-colored artificial flowers and leaves to fill them in. Using paint, glue, decorative napkin strips, and ribbons, we could not help being reminded of our days in kindergarten making fun projects. While working on the projects there was so much laughter, teasing, and playing I don't think we could actually call it working! Thanks to our two craft teachers. ~ Irma Romero (Sugar Mama) Irmabsromero@gmail.com 48 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | OCTOBER 2023 Crown Divas Red Hats Fall is approaching and the weather should be cooling. Hopefully. This month we are excited to bring to you Halter Ranch, a winery from Paso Robles and Temecula. Halter Ranch is located on the western boundaries of Paso Robles. The winery sits on 2,700 acres of land but only 200 acres are planted with vineyards; the rest is dedicated to natural landscape. The vineyards were planted in 1996 at an elevation of 1,950 feet. Halter Ranch is a certified organic vineyard. In 2011 Halter Ranch completed its new production facility and tasting room. What? You do not have time to visit Halter Ranch in Paso Robles? No problem. In 2022, Halter Ranch acquired Hart Winery in Temecula. You can sample their award-winning wines only a short distance away. Oh, and if you happen to be in Fredericksburg, TX, you can sample their wines at their new tasting room that will be opening soon. ~ Gino Domico, gdomico@gmail. com Taste d'Vine Classical Music Club We are classical music lovers with an interest in sharing our love of, knowledge about, and interest in classical music.
