| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | OCTOBER 2023 | 31
Every month is a great time to quilt, but there is something
about October that really sets the stage. With autumn upon
us, cooler days and nights, and less daylight the mood shis to
pumpkins. Pumpkin fabrics, warm fall colors, Halloween themes
for the grandkids, and cozy borders of leaves and whimsical
motifs. ese beautiful fall themed quilts demonstrate just that,
in addition to the talent of our members.
We continue to meet every ursday (except the fourth
ursday) in the Arts & Cras Room from 10 am to 4 pm for
sewing, creating, and enjoying each other's company. Contributing
to our community's 20th Anniversary Celebration on Sat., Sept.
23, our love for quilting was on full display!
Our October Club meetings will be Oct. 5, 12, and 19 in the
Arts & Cras Room beginning at 10 am. Aer our usual break for
lunch at the Bistro at 12:30 pm, we then return to continue sewing
and visiting until 4 pm. Curiosity seekers are always welcome, and
of course new members are actively encouraged!
